PRICE INCREASE ANNOUNCEMENT – June 1, 2026

To Our Valued Customers,

Effective June 1, 2026, CEMCO will raise prices on ALL STEEL-BASED PRODUCTS FOR ALL MARKETS.

According to Steel Market Update (SMU), steel inventories remain constrained and mill lead times continue to extend. As a result, our suppliers have implemented additional increases on galvanized sheet steel.

Industry experts predict the forces pressuring steel prices upward to remain for several more months, if not longer. With the demand for construction products expected to recover as we head toward 2027, we expect steel costs to remain elevated.

Additionally, reduced petroleum output in the Middle East has driven freight costs higher at an unprecedented rate. These cost increases affect both our incoming and outgoing shipments.

Given these sustained increases in both steel and freight costs, we must announce our sixth price increase in the past six months.

New price sheets will be available from sales representatives in the week leading up to the effective date of the price increase. Additionally, job quotes will be honored if they are committed in writing within 30 days of origination, with quoted pricing remaining firm for 180 days from the date created.
