Price Increase Announcement – Effective June 29, 2026
Dear Valued Customer,
Effective June 29, 2026, CEMCO will implement a price increase on all steel-based products across all markets.
- In addition, CEMCO will adjust special coating upcharges as outlined
- G40 to G60 = 10% upcharge
- G60 to G90 = 10% upcharge
- G40 to G90 = 20% upcharge
U.S. steel mills have recently reached their highest production levels in the past six years and their strongest utilization rate in the past four years at 82.2%. Increased output and sustained capacity utilization have enabled mills to raise prices each month throughout 2026. In addition, coating extras have continued to rise as zinc prices remain elevated.
As a result of these ongoing cost pressures, CEMCO must implement this pricing adjustment, including revised coating extras, to help offset the increases affecting our overall cost structure.
Updated price sheets will be available from your sales representative during the week prior to the effective date of the increase. In addition, job quotes will be honored if committed in writing within 30 days of origination, and quoted pricing will remain firm for 180 days from the date of issuance.
