CEMCO®s Denver Facility Called to Supply CRITICAL FRAMING for COVID-19 Step-Down Facility

CEMCO’s Denver manufacturing quickly turned around over 60 tons of steel framing products for a step-down facility built at the Denver Convention Center for low-risk patients recently released from regional hospitals. The newly constructed temporary facility has 2,200 beds situated in several 10’ x 10’ rooms. These rooms were framed using CEMCO’s ViperStud 18mil (20EQ) studs and tracks as well as other accessories supplied through L & W Supply in Denver.

A joint venture between Phase 2 Company and Spacecon Specialty Contractors, these temporary rooms were built in under 72 hours. Once these rooms are finished with electrical, HVAC, drywalled, and finished, low-risk patients can be welcomed for their safe stay.

CEMCO is proud to be a partner in such an important project during these trying times and will continue to offer our manufacturing prowess, unparalleled service, and broad family of cold-formed steel framing products and accessories when most needed. Congratulations to L & W Supply, Phase 2 Company, and Spacecon Specialty Contractors on such a great job! We are all in this together.
