Our accredited laboratory is equipped with various facilities that enable us to conduct experimental studies in physical and mechanical testing.

We employ the latest in CAD-CAE technology for conception and analyses of products. We take pride in the comprehensive and rigorous processes used during all product development phases.

CEMCO R&D Product Development Method

CEMCO R&D implements the following methodologies when developing our innovative products:

  • Conduct product feasibility study
  • Develop product models and study the model's behavior using computer-aided environments
  • Analyze how the product fits with other structural and framing elements
  • Create a prototype and perform prototype testing
  • Develop a comprehensive test matrix and conduct final product end to end testing
  • Analyze test results and compare to and correlate with simulation
  • Develop design guidelines and tables, as well as provide detailed structural evaluation
  • Obtain patents, if necessary

CEMCO R&D Laboratory Services

The CEMCO R&D testing laboratory is equipped with several load frames and data acquisition systems that facilitate and enhance our testing capabilities. Our laboratory provides quality and timely services to our clients.

Samples of the types of mechanical tests we conduct in our laboratory include the following:

  • Tensile tests for characterization of material properties
  • Full scale, flexural, shear and web crippling tests for information about load capacity and the behavior of structural members
